- PhD in “Comparative and European Criminal Law”. Main institution: University of Palermo ( Italy ). Supporting institution: University of Cambridge ( UK ). Final Thesis on “Criminal agreement and group crimes in the English criminal law. A study focused on the historical origins and the dogmatic and comparative aspects of the offence of conspiracy” (pp.307).

- Awarding of a six months scholarship, as PhD visiting students, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Cambridge (UK). Topic of research: “The offence of Conspiracy in the English criminal Law: juridical and methodological problems”.

Academic career
I started working at the Department of Criminal Law as a Junior researcher in November 2001, immediately after my graduation. I became a contract researcher in 2005. Here follows a short summary of my recent academic achievements:
